WORKSHOPS

STEM WORKSHOPS

@ YOUR SCHOOL

We offer a range of workshops on STEM topics, designed to encourage older children to think more deeply about the science, to experiment and draw conclusions from their findings.  The workshops often involve some use of tools (eg a handsaw to cut wood) and we require adult helpers to attend the session to ensure adequate practical support for the children.

Workshops can be tailored to suit your needs – whether you want the workshop to reinforce curriculum learning at the end of term, to encourage classes to work together as a team (popular for new groups at the start of the school year), or simply as a fun way of exploring a topic more deeply.

STEM workshops are delivered in your school by one of our teaching associates.  They will bring materials with them – you just need to provide a suitable room and sufficient supervisors for the size of the class.

Half day workshops cost £200 for a class of up to 30 pupils. Please use the Booking Enquiry form to discuss your requirements.

Note that our STEM workshop delivery has been paused as a result of COVID-19 restrictions.  We are taking this opportunity to review our programme.  Please email us if you’d like to be informed when workshops are available for delivery again.
