Key Stage 2 (Years 5 & 6)

FOOD CHAINS & FOOD WEBS

In this workshop pupils investigate the interdependence of plants and animals within a freshwater habitat. We explore food chains, energy flow and plant nutrition by- observing different creatures from the Soanes Centre pond and how they interact. Finally, pupils construct a food chain or food web of their own to take back to class.
